All That Glitters: Gold Leaf Gilding for Cosplay and Costumes

Nothing glitters like gold!  Learn how to apply delicate gold leaf to armor, filigrees, and more with just a few tools in this hands-on beginner-friendly class.

When gold paint isn't enough, faux gold leaf can give your cosplay and costuming pieces an unmatched shine!  Best for rigid applications like armor, frames, detailed sculptures, or even artwork, this hands-on class will walk through the basics of gilding.  During this course we will walk through the required tools to get started, as well as different application techniques for different projects.  Finally, students will put what they've learned to the test as they gild their own sample project to take home.
