The side with the slightly shiny, dotted texture. Place it against the wrong side of your fabric, cover with a press cloth, and press — don't glide — for about 10–15 seconds per section.

Can I sew through 987F after fusing?

Yes — it is completely sewing-machine safe and adds structure without gumming up your needle.
